Julia Gosling -

Julia Gosling is a Canadian ice hockey forward from London, Ontario, known for her size, scoring touch and two‑way play. She played her collegiate career at St. Lawrence Saints, where she served as team captain and was a two‑time ECAC All‑Star. By the end of her NCAA tenure she amassed impressive totals across four seasons, including a senior year with 22 goals and 51 points — a testament to her offensive ability and leadership on the ice.

Gosling entered professional women’s hockey when she was drafted 6th overall in the 2024 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Draft by Toronto Sceptres, signing a two‑year deal. In her rookie PWHL season she showed she could handle the step up, contributing with regular-season goals and making an early playoff impact — including a two‑goal game in her playoff debut. Her blend of physical power, offensive instincts and work ethic has made her a promising young forward at the pro level.

Internationally, Julia has represented Team Canada at multiple levels. She helped Canada capture gold at the 2019 U18 Women’s World Championship, and made her senior national‑team debut in 2023. She was part of the squad that won gold at the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship, scoring in the gold‑medal game. Her rapid rise from youth hockey through college to pro and international success has marked her as one of the most exciting young talents in women’s hockey today.
