She was originally drafted 40th overall in the 2023 PWHL Draft by the New York Sirens, signing a two‑year deal to begin her PWHL career. In January 2025, she was traded to Boston, where she solidified her spot on the roster. Known for her speed, edge‑work, and tenacity, Saulnier provides veteran leadership and energy on and off the ice — traits that have made her a valued member of Boston’s forward group.
Saulnier’s hockey journey began at the collegiate level with Cornell Big Red, where she delivered consistent high-level play across four seasons. She was recognized as an ECAC Rookie of the Year, collected multiple All‑ECAC and All‑Ivy honors, and emerged as a top-three finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award (awarded annually to the top NCAA women’s hockey player). Her offensive instincts, combination of speed and shot power, and ability to produce in clutch moments earned her a reputation as one of the most dynamic forwards in college women’s hockey.
On the international stage, Saulnier has been a long‑standing contributor to Team Canada. She competed at the Olympics twice, winning a silver medal in 2018 and a gold medal in 2022. In addition, she has represented Canada at numerous IIHF Women’s World Championships, earning a collection of medals across tournaments. Her combination of grit, international experience, and versatility makes her a respected veteran in women’s hockey and an important presence both in PWHL play and on the world stage.
