Alina Muller -
Alina Müller is a Swiss ice hockey forward recognized as one of the most skilled and prolific European players of her generation. Drafted third overall in the inaugural PWHL Draft, she became the first European player selected and quickly emerged as a key offensive force for Boston. Her speed, playmaking vision, and two-way reliability have made her an essential part of the team’s attack, helping establish Boston as a competitive franchise in the league’s early seasons.
Before joining the PWHL, Müller enjoyed a standout collegiate career at Northeastern University. Over five seasons, she became the program’s all-time leading scorer, earning multiple conference Player of the Year awards and being named a perennial finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, presented annually to the top player in NCAA women’s hockey. Her consistency, leadership, and ability to elevate her team in high-pressure situations cemented her as one of the most decorated players in Northeastern history.
Internationally, Müller has been a cornerstone of Switzerland’s women’s national team since she was a teenager. At 15, she scored the bronze-medal-winning goal at the 2014 Winter Olympics, becoming the youngest hockey player ever to medal at the Games. She continued to shine at subsequent Olympics, including a standout performance in 2018, where she led the tournament in scoring and was named Best Forward. Her impact on Swiss hockey continues to inspire a new generation of players.
