Brianne Jenner is a Canadian forward from Oakville, Ontario, who currently captains the Ottawa Charge in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She was among the first players to sign with the league ahead of its inaugural 2023‑24 season — a milestone moment after years of advocacy and pro‑women’s hockey activism. As captain, she brings veteran leadership, skill, and a relentless work ethic that set the tone for the franchise on and off the ice.

Jenner’s hockey career took off at the collegiate level with the Cornell Big Red, where she starred offensively and emerged as one of the top players in NCAA women’s hockey. She later played professionally in the former CWHL, winning two championships with the Calgary Inferno. With those experiences, she helped carry forward the transition into a stable, sustainable pro women’s league by committing early to the PWHL.

On the international stage, Jenner is among Canada’s most decorated women’s hockey players. She has won two Olympic gold medals (2014, 2022) and one Olympic silver (2018); at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, she was named tournament MVP after tying the Olympic record for goals in a single women’s tournament. Beyond the Olympics, she’s won multiple world‑championship medals and remains an assistant captain of the national team. Her combination of elite scoring, leadership, and experience continues to make her a cornerstone of both her professional club and Canada’s national program.
