Gabby Rosenthal -

Gabby Rosenthal is an American ice‑hockey forward hailing from Blaine, Minnesota. She played high school hockey at Blaine High School, where she finished with impressive totals (77 goals, 85 assists) and captained her team in her senior year. She then moved on to play at Ohio State Buckeyes in NCAA women’s hockey, where over five seasons she developed into a dependable two‑way center known for her face‑off prowess and consistency. In her final collegiate seasons she posted strong scoring numbers and helped lead the Buckeyes to a national championship in 2022.

Rosenthal began her professional career when she was drafted by New York Sirens in the 2024 inaugural draft of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). In her rookie season she played 29 games, scoring in her debut and ending with a total of four points (1 goal, 3 assists), while showing reliability in the faceoff circle. In mid‑2025 she was selected by the newly formed Vancouver Goldeneyes in the PWHL Expansion Draft and signed for the 2025–26 season — regarded as a valuable addition to the team’s forward depth because of her two‑way game and tenacity.

Off the ice and outside of her pro career, Rosenthal’s background and steady development highlight her work ethic, hockey IQ, and adaptability. Though she has not yet broken into major international play, her steady college and pro growth — plus her consistent presence in one of North America’s top women’s leagues — position her as a rising player with potential for broader recognition as her career progresses.
