Catherine Dubois has built her hockey career through perseverance, determination and a deep connection to the game in her home province of Quebec. Born July 29, 1995, in Quebec City, Dubois developed into a standout forward with the Université de Montréal Carabins, where she played five seasons and helped the program capture a U SPORTS national championship in 2016. She finished her university career with 62 points in 94 games and continued her development professionally with the PWHPA and Montréal Force before joining the Professional Women’s Hockey League. Her journey through the Canadian development system also included representing Canada internationally, highlighted by a gold medal at the 2013 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship.

Dubois has become an increasingly important presence with the Montréal Victoire, bringing size, physicality and offensive instincts to the club's forward group. During the 2024–25 season, she scored six goals and added three assists in 24 regular-season games, finishing tied for third on the team in goals. She also delivered one of the defining moments in PWHL history during the 2025 playoffs, scoring the dramatic game-winning goal at 135:33 of the fourth overtime against the Ottawa Charge. The goal secured Montréal's first-ever playoff victory and ended the longest game in PWHL history—a clutch moment that instantly cemented Dubois in the league's record books.

Continuing to establish herself as a key member of Montréal's roster, Dubois signed a contract extension to remain with the Victoire through the 2025–26 season. She contributed to a historic chapter for the organization in 2026, when the Montréal Victoire captured its first Walter Cup championship and became the first Canadian team to win the PWHL title.
