One of the season's most notable performances came on April 21, 2026, when she scored a hat trick against the Vancouver Goldeneyes, becoming the first player in PWHL history to score three goals for a team that ultimately lost the game. She scored all three goals in just 2:44, establishing the league record for the fastest three-goal performance. Scamurra then added four points (two goals and two assists) in nine playoff games as Montréal captured its first Walter Cup.

Scamurra's accomplishments also include an extensive international career with Team USA. She has represented the United States at six IIHF Women's World Championships, winning three gold medals (2019, 2023 and 2025) and three silver medals (2021, 2022 and 2024). She made her Olympic debut at Beijing 2022, helping the United States win silver after recording three points in seven games. At the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, Scamurra won her first Olympic gold medal. Following Montréal's Walter Cup championship in May 2026, she became the first PWHL player to win Olympic gold and the Walter Cup in the same season. In June 2026, she signed a three-year contract with the expansion PWHL Las Vegas, keeping her in the league through the 2028–29 season.
