Izzy Daniel is an American ice‑hockey forward from Minneapolis, Minnesota, currently playing for the Vancouver Goldeneyes of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She began her rise to prominence during her collegiate years at Cornell Big Red, where over five seasons she demonstrated elite playmaking, vision, and scoring touch. In her senior year, she amassed 59 points — including 21 goals and 38 assists — and ranked among the national leaders in points‑per‑game and assists‑per‑game, establishing herself as one of the top forwards in NCAA women’s hockey.

Daniel’s 2023‑24 season at Cornell culminated in being awarded the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, the top individual honor in U.S. women’s college hockey. She also earned honors including conference Forward of the Year and league Player of the Year. That exceptional season made her the first player in Cornell women’s hockey history to receive the Patty Kazmaier Award, underscoring her elite status and consistency.

After college, Daniel was selected 18th overall in the 2024 PWHL Draft by the Toronto Sceptres and signed a two‑year contract. Ahead of the 2025–26 season she moved to Vancouver via expansion draft, joining the Goldeneyes. In addition, she earned a spot on the U.S. senior national team roster in early 2025 for the Rivalry Series vs. Canada — a strong sign of her potential at the international level. With her blend of vision, hockey IQ, and proven scoring ability, she is widely regarded as a rising star in the women’s pro game.
