Jade Downie-Landry -
Jade Downie‑Landry is a Canadian forward from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, currently playing for the Montréal Victoire in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She first gained national recognition during her university career with the McGill Martlets, where over five seasons she compiled an impressive total of 204 points in 165 games. In 2021–22, she was awarded the Brodrick Trophy as U SPORTS Player of the Year, reflecting her dominance as one of the top players in Canadian university women’s hockey. She was also a multi-year All-Canadian and twice named McGill’s most outstanding scorer, consistently leading her team in offense.
Downie‑Landry turned professional and joined the PWHL after being selected in the ninth round (52nd overall) of the 2023 PWHL Draft. She spent two seasons with the New York Sirens, appearing in 54 league games and tallying 12 goals and 7 assists for 19 points. In January 2024, she scored a memorable hat trick against Boston — a highlight in her pro career that showcased her scoring touch and two-way play.
Ahead of the 2025–26 season, Downie‑Landry signed a one-year contract to return home to Montreal with Montréal Victoire. Known for combining offensive flair with physical presence and strong puck battles, she brings veteran experience and versatility up front. Her journey — from Quebec university star to PWHL forward — reflects resilience, hard work, and a consistent ability to deliver at every level of competition.
